The Unubiko Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals in underserved communities through education, healthcare, and community development initiatives, is pleased to announce the launch of its 2024/2025 Scholarship Program.
This scholarship aims to support deserving students from Abia State studying in state or federal tertiary institutions across Nigeria, as well as non-Abian students enrolled in state or federal institutions located within Abia State. The program is part of the foundation’s efforts to promote educational advancement, with a particular focus on empowering the girl child.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will have their full academic expenses covered by the Unubiko Foundation.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to:
- Abia State Indigenes: Fulltime undergraduate students studying in state or federal universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education across Nigeria.
- Non-Abian Students: Fulltime undergraduates enrolled in state or federal institutions located within Abia State.
- Eligible Courses include; Accountancy, Agricultural Science, Architecture, Business and Economics, Computer Science, Dentistry, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies/Surveying, Geoinformatics, Geophysics, Law, Mass Communication/Journalism, Medicine & Surgery, and Pharmacy.
Academic Requirements
- University Students: Minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent.
- Polytechnic Students: Minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
- College of Education Students: Minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent.
- OLevel Results: A minimum of six credits, including English and Mathematics, in one sitting.

Application Process
- Submit Application: Apply exclusively through the Unubiko Foundation Scholarship Portal.
- Screening Test: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a screening test.
- Document Upload: Ensure all required documents are clear, properly labeled, and uploaded as specified.
Required Documents
- Recent passport photograph (450px by 450px, not exceeding 200KB).
- Valid school ID card.
- Admission letter.
- Birth certificate or attestation.
- OLevel result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- JAMB result.
- Local Government Area identification letter.
- Signed school verification form (downloadable from the portal).

Important Notes

- Scholarship awards are nontransferable to other institutions or courses.
