DiginThe Sprinng Writing Fellowship (SWF) is a free, intensive 6-week online mentorship program designed to nurture talented young writers from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, and South Africa. This initiative aims to support aspiring writers with exceptional potential and a strong desire to grow in their craft.
The fellowship focuses on four key literary genres: Poetry, Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, and Book Reviews. Over the six weeks, participants will work closely with experienced mentors, submitting their work for detailed feedback and guidance. Mentors and mentees will collaborate to refine at least one piece of writing per week, with communication facilitated through email, phone calls, WhatsApp, and text messages.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to writers aged 18 to 25 from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, and South Africa.
- Applicants must reside in their respective countries.
- Writers who have not published a book (eBook or hardcopy) are eligible.
Selection Process:
- Applications open on January 15, 2025, and close on April 15, 2025.
- Finalists will be notified by May 18, 2025.
- The fellowship runs from June 1 to July 15, 2025.
