AstraZeneca is seeking motivated young leaders to join its 2025 Young Health Program (YHP) Impact Fellowship. This initiative empowers young advocates to create meaningful change in health equity by offering funding, leadership development, and the opportunity to participate in the One Young World Summit. Selected Fellows will receive a fully funded scholarship to attend the 2025 Summit in Munich, Germany, along with a $10,000 grant (or $50,000 if chosen as a Lead2030 Challenge winner) to implement a health focused project through their nonprofit organization. Additionally, Fellows will gain access to exclusive leadership opportunities to enhance their personal and professional growth.

Fellowship Benefits
Selected Fellows will benefit from:
- Networking Opportunities: Participation in the 2025 One Young World Summit, access to the One Young World Ambassador Network, and membership in the YHP Alumni group. Fellows will also join AstraZeneca’s Young Health Program Advisory Board to advocate for policy solutions addressing non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
- Leadership Development: Structured learning programs, including access to the One Young World Academy and professional training, to help scale their impact.
- Funding: A grant of $10,000 (or $50,000 for Lead2030 Challenge winners) to implement a project focused on improving youth health in underserved communities.
Note: Applicants for the YHP Impact Fellowship will automatically be considered for the Lead2030 Challenge.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 18–30 (applicants over 30 may be considered if they demonstrate significant impact and initiative).
- Be proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Be nationals of any country.
- Be available to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany, from November 2–7, 2025.
- Be founders or leaders of registered nonprofit organizations that:
- Have been operational for at least 3 years.
- Operate in underserved communities.
- Have a total reported income of:
i. $10,000–$1,000,000 (for the $10,000 grant).
ii. $100,000–$2,000,000 (for the $50,000 grant).
- Propose a 6–12 month project that:
i. Focuses on preventing NCDs among youth by promoting healthy lifestyles and equitable access to healthcare.
ii. Addresses major NCD risk factors (e.g., tobacco use, physical inactivity, harmful alcohol use, unhealthy diets, air pollution).
iii. Includes clear policy goals and an advocacy strategy led by and for young people.
iv. Is inclusive, measurable, and demonstrates impact.
v. Be able to provide necessary documentation to verify their organization’s charitable status and financial situation.
*Projects must begin after October 2025 and conclude by December 2026.
Ineligible Projects
Projects that:
- Discriminate or promote political/religious agendas.
- Provide medical treatment, advice, or medicines.
- Benefit AstraZeneca’s commercial interests.
- Are already funded by more than 50% by another source.
