Applications are now being accepted for the 2025/2026 Chatham House Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship, a collaborative initiative between Chatham House and the Mo Ibrahim Foundation. This fully funded fellowship provides early-to-mid-career professionals with a unique opportunity to spend ten months at Chatham House in London, working on a self-designed research project while enhancing their leadership skills and expanding their professional network in international affairs. 

 Key Details 

• Eligibility: Open to citizens of African countries or individuals holding dual nationality that includes an African nation.
• Duration: Ten months, from October 2025 to July 2026.
• Location: Fellows will be based full-time at Chatham House in London, with hybrid working options available.

 Eligibility Requirements 

• Education: Applicants must hold a completed BA degree or equivalent and have prior research experience.
• Career Background: Ideal candidates are early-to-mid-career professionals from academia, NGOs, business, government, civil society, or media.
• Expertise: Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in international affairs, their chosen research area, and Chatham House’s mission.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken English is required.
• Age: No age restrictions apply.

Fellowship Structure 

Fellows will engage in the following activities: 

• Research Project: Conduct an independent research project on a topic of their choice.
• Leadership Program: Participate in a comprehensive leadership development program, including:

• Thematic Sessions: Discussions on global challenges with experts.
