BIC Africa Online Acceleration Program 2025 for Women Entrepreneurs 

Program Overview 

Applications are now open for the 2025 BIC Africa Online Acceleration Program, designed to empower women entrepreneurs across Sub-Saharan Africa. This fifth edition will support 30 women, including 20 from Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Somalia, and 10 from other Sub-Saharan African countries. The program aims to help participants scale their businesses while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Running from April to July 2025, the program targets established post-revenue women entrepreneurs with registered businesses and operational teams. It offers a blend of online training modules, group coaching, individual exercises, and networking opportunities with experienced women experts from Africa and Europe. A select number of participants will also receive one-on-one mentoring.

Program Structure 

Participants will benefit from: 

  • A comprehensive online training course with 6 modules.
  • 4 group coaching sessions to delve deeper into key topics.
  • 2 networking sessions to connect with peers and experts.
  • Access to the BIC Africa alumnae network and additional networking and market linkage opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria 

To apply, candidates must: 

  • Be a woman aged 18 or older, serving as the founder or CEO of a registered business with an operational team.
  • Have a business that has been operational for at least one year and demonstrates strong growth potential.
  • Be based in Sub-Saharan Africa, with priority given to applicants from Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Somalia.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of English.
  • Commit to participating fully in the program, dedicating up to 2 hours per week for online sessions and additional time for individual work.
  • Have reliable internet access.

Program Benefits 

Participants will gain: 

  • Training Modules: 6 interactive online sessions covering topics such as mission, value proposition, business model, team building, finance, and marketing.
  • Coaching Sessions: 4 group sessions focusing on leadership, financial management, storytelling, and time management.
  • Networking Opportunities: 2 sessions at the start and end of the program, along with integration into the BIC Africa Community.
  • Additional Resources: Access to session recordings, support documents, and visibility on the BIC Africa website and LinkedIn group.

Recognition and Awards 

  • A digital certificate of completion for participants who attend at least 9 out of 12 sessions.
  • One-on-one mentoring with European incubation experts for high performing participants.
  • Potential business awards, including additional support, enhanced visibility, and invitations to BIC Africa events.
