Eligibility Criteria for the 2025 Scholarship

  • To qualify for the KNUST MasterCard Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Possess a valid WASSCE, GBCE, ABCE, GCE OLevel, ALevel, or equivalent certificate from an accredited institution. Results must not be older than five years, and candidates with pending results are not eligible.
  •  Meet KNUST’s admission requirements.
  • Demonstrate significant financial need.
  • Show evidence of leadership experience and community involvement.
  • Priority will be given to:
  • Female applicants.
  • Displaced persons (e.g., certified refugees, internally displaced persons).
  • Individuals with disabilities.
  • Commit to contributing to their communities after completing their studies.
  • Must not be currently enrolled in any tertiary institution.
