Apply For Nigerian Youth Employment Through Skills Acquisition Fund (NYESAF) Empowerment Program

Application is now open for the Nigerian Youth Employment Through Skills Acquisition Fund (NYESAF) program for Nigerian youth. This is a Federal Ministry of Education Initiative to empower Nigerian Youths under the IDEAS Project.

Are you a young Nigerian struggling to find meaningful work? Do you want to build a better future for yourself and your family? NYESAF also comes with monthly stipends (salary).

Eligibility Criteria

Nigerian youth (22–45 years) from any of the 6 geopolitical zones
Functionally literate and have at least some secondary education
Currently unemployed or underemployed
Special preference for women, persons with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged individuals

National Identification Number (NIN)
Preferred skill/trade area

Selected applicants will undergo 3–6 months of training, receive certification, and may be eligible for a monthly stipend.

Available Programmes

The training programs under NYESAF typically span 3 to 6 months, tailored to equip youth with practical, job-ready skills.

These programs focus on sectors with high employment potential such as:

Agriculture,
Cosmetology Beauty
Automative Mechanical Skills,
Health and Fitness,
Digital Skills,
Fashion Design and Leather Works,
Hospitality Leisure and Tourism,
Building Construction,
Creative Industries.

How to apply:

Visit the IDEAS Project MIS on https://ideasprojectng.com/tsp/
Click on get started
Click the NYESAF tab
Click apply on the sector/Skill applicable and available for your TSP
Download the EOI form template to be filled (if not yet downloaded)
Click apply
Fill the required information an email verification will be sent to your email to activate your user account
login to your account and provide all necessary documents as requested for the EOI and submit
You will be notified on your dashboard as you proceed (when your EOI is reviewed and you qualify, you will prompted to proceed to upload your RFP) always check your dashboard to track your progress.
Note: You will not be able to continue with the application if your EOI does not meet the eligibility criteria.

Each training offering is mapped to the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and linked to certifications by nationally recognized Awarding Bodies (ABs).
