DiginCall For Researchers/Data Collectors
A nationwide research initiative is being conducted to assess child protection and wellbeing across all 36 states of
Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory. The study will involve key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) with stakeholders in the child protection sector.
Job Responsibilities
Selected researchers will be responsible for:
• Conducting key informant interviews and focus group discussions in their respective states.
• Recording interviews and discussions using designated research applications.
• Transcribing collected data into electronic formats for analysis.
• Ensuring high-quality data collection following ethical research standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data collection, preferably using electronic data collection methods (e.g.,
KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO).
• Familiarity with the child protection landscape in Nigeria.
• Strong interviewing, transcription, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Location: All 36 States in Nigeria & Federal Capital Territory (Applicants must specify their state of residence and can only be recruited for their state of residence)
