FCM Foundation SEED Scholarship 2025: Empowering Muslim Students in Nigeria 

The FCM Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2025 Students’ Empowerment and Education Development (SEED) Scholarship is open for applications. This initiative aims to support underprivileged yet academically outstanding Muslim undergraduate students in Nigerian universities by offering financial assistance, career guidance, academic development, and networking opportunities.

Overview of the FCM Foundation SEED Scholarship 

The SEED Scholarship is tailored to assist financially challenged Muslim students pursuing undergraduate degrees in selected Nigerian universities. The program provides monthly stipends, academic and career development resources, and opportunities to build professional networks.

Eligible Universities for the SEED Scholarship 

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in the following universities:

• Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna
• Bayero University, Kano
• Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara
• Usumanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto
• Kaduna State University, Kaduna
• Kano University of Science & Technology, Wudil
• Sokoto State University
• Zamfara State University
• Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto

Eligibility Criteria 

To qualify for the SEED Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a full-time undergraduate student in one of the nine eligible universities.
• Be in their 300-level academic year.
• Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.5 on a 5.0 scale (or its equivalent on other grading systems).
• Demonstrate commitment to fulfilling the scholarship’s requirements and training curriculum.

Required Documents 

Applicants must submit the following documents during the application process:

• Valid student identity card from their institution.
• Proof of current enrollment (e.g., ID card, biodata form).
• A reference letter from a recognized Islamic organization (institution-based student organizations are not accepted).
• An official result slip showing the applicant’s CGPA signed and stamped by the Head of Department (HOD).
• A personal statement explaining why the applicant deserves the scholarship.
