Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF) 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship for Nigerian Students

The Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF) has introduced the IEF Talents Program, aimed at supporting outstanding final-year university students pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) courses and students enrolled in teacher education programs at colleges of education. This initiative provides financial assistance and ensures a seamless transition into the teaching profession by offering guaranteed employment within the foundation’s schools after graduation.

Benefits of the IEF Undergraduate Scholarship

Financial Assistance: Selected scholars will receive N500,000 (five hundred thousand naira) to cover tuition fees, study materials, and other essential academic expenses for the academic year.
Professional Development: Scholars will engage in workshops and training sessions conducted by experienced educators to enhance their teaching skills.
Employment Opportunity: Upon graduation and certification, scholars will be offered teaching positions within the foundation’s network of schools.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the IEF Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a female student in her final year of either:
A teacher education program at an accredited college of education, or
A university undergraduate degree program in a STEM-related field.
Reside in Enugu State.
Demonstrate a strong academic record, good character, and a commitment to teaching.
Exhibit leadership qualities, compassion, and effective communication skills.
Show a genuine passion to contribute towards youth education and engaging with students and parents.
