About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take charge of IT support and operations across all our locations nationwide.

Your mission will be to ensure seamless IT service delivery while maintaining robust systems that support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support Management:

  • Oversee and coordinate IT support services across all locations, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Standardize support procedures and best practices, mentoring regional IT staff for consistent service delivery.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges, collaborating with the Assistant IT Manager to resolve critical incidents.

Point of Sale (POS) System Management:

  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of POS systems, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Troubleshoot POS issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth store operations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of POS configurations and updates, sharing knowledge with regional teams.

Network Administration and Performance:

  • Ensure reliable network performance across all locations by addressing connectivity and performance issues proactively.
  • Conduct diagnostics, implement security measures, and support system upgrades for improved resilience.

IT Asset Management:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including computers, POS systems, and network devices.
  • Track asset usage, location, and assignment while ensuring compliance during audits.

Documentation and Training:

  • Develop instructional guides and SOPs for common IT tasks to empower teams and reduce recurring issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for regional IT staff and store managers, improving troubleshooting skills and IT awareness.
  • Promote IT security and safe system usage through user education.

Reporting and Strategic Planning:

  • Generate detailed reports on IT support activities, including common issues, resolution times, and overall performance metrics.
  • Analyze trends in support requests to identify recurring problems and develop preventive solutions.
  • Contribute to strategic IT planning by evaluating processes and recommending improvements.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, including IT support management, hardware maintenance, and network administration.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.
  • Proven expertise in managing IT assets, troubleshooting technical issues, and leading IT teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in explaining complex technical concepts in simple, clear terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in planning and executing IT projects within budget and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or retail industry.
  • ITIL certification for IT service management.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification for project management.
