Study Programs Offered 

  1. Undergraduate (Bachelors Degree):
  • Open to high school graduates or those with equivalent qualifications.
  • Duration: 3 to 6 years, depending on the chosen field of study.

  1. Masters Degree:
  • Available to students who have completed their undergraduate studies.
  • Duration: 1, 1.5, or 2 years.
  • The program concludes with a dissertation defense.
  1. PhD (Doctoral Studies):
  • Designed for graduate students or equivalent.
  • Duration: 3 to 5 years, depending on the faculty and research area.
  • The program concludes with the submission and defense of a PhD thesis.
  • Applicants must secure written approval from a Doctoral Tutor (a member of the doctoral school) and pass an admission interview.

Scholarship Benefits 

  1. Tuition Fees: Fully covered by the scholarship.
  2. Accommodation: Subsidized housing in student dormitories (subject to availability). Scholarship recipients must contact their host university for specific accommodation details.
  3. Monthly Stipend:
  • Undergraduate and preparatory year students: Equivalent of 65 EUR in Romanian Lei.
  • Master’s students: Equivalent of 75 EUR in Romanian Lei.
  • PhD students: Equivalent of 85 EUR in Romanian Lei.

Eligibility Criteria 

The scholarship is open to non-EU citizens, with the following exceptions:

  • Individuals of Romanian origin or those belonging to Romanian historical communities near Romania (eligible for separate scholarship programs).
  • Applicants who have sought or obtained protection in Romania.
  • Stateless persons legally residing in Romania.
  • Diplomatic or consular staff and their family members are accredited to Romania.
  • Administrative or technical staff of diplomatic missions and consular offices in Romania.
  • Employees of international organizations based in Romania or their family members.
  • Individuals already receiving a Romanian state scholarship for the same study cycle.

  • Passport copy.
