About the Network: The Young Men’s Network Against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence is a dynamic advocacy platform committed to ending gender-based violence (GBV) in Nigeria. This platform empowers young male leaders to challenge harmful cultural norms, stereotypes, and toxic masculinities that perpetuate Gender Based Violence in the society and communities.
In Its 12th year, the network has experienced both triumphs and challenges. With members in 16 states, it continues to thrive through partnerships with organizations at state and national levels. The network leverages digital spaces to counter misogyny, promote positive masculinity, and provide mobile-based training for young men.
Looking ahead, the group aims to expand its reach, strengthen community-based initiatives, and enhance outreach programs. Through education and advocacy, the network remains dedicated to fostering a society free from GBV.
