ICESCO Young Professionals Program in Morocco 2025
The Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) has announced the second edition of its Young Professionals Program (YPP) for 2025–2027.
This fully funded initiative offers young talents from ICESCO member states a unique opportunity to engage in a 24-month professional training at ICESCO’s headquarters in Rabat, Morocco.
Program Overview
The ICESCO Young Professionals Program is designed to develop the leadership and professional skills of young individuals committed to advancing education, science, and culture in the Islamic world. Participants will be integrated into various sectors, departments, or specialized centers within ICESCO, gaining hands-on experience in an international organizational setting.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of one of ICESCO’s member states.
- Age: Under 35 years old at the time of application.
- Education: Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in education, science, culture, or a related field relevant to ICESCO’s areas of action.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one of ICESCO’s working languages (Arabic, English, or French) is required, with fluency in multiple languages considered an advantage.

Selected participants will receive:
- Monthly Salary: Competitive remuneration throughout the program duration.
- Allowances: Transport allowances for all participants; housing allowances for non-resident professionals.
- Travel Expenses: Round-trip travel tickets for non-resident professionals at the start and end of the program.
- Insurance Coverage: Health insurance and occupational hazards insurance in accordance with ICESCO’s internal regulations.
Application Process
Interested candidates should:
- Application Period: Submit applications between December 24, 2024, and January 30, 2025.
- Required Documents: Prepare a curriculum vitae in one of ICESCO’s working languages, copies of academic diplomas and qualifications, a copy of the ID card or passport, and a copy of the birth certificate.
- Submission: Complete the application form available on ICESCO’s official website and upload the required documents.
- Selection Process: ICESCO will contact shortlisted candidates to conduct remote written tests and interviews.
Program Commencement
Accepted candidates will be selected by virtue of a Director-General’s decision. The General Directorate signs 24-month contracts with the accepted professionals.
ICESCO arranges for non-resident professionals who are accepted in the program to start work at the Seat Country. The young professional undertakes to uphold regular attendance at ICESCO headquarters until the end of the training.
