2025 University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) Masters in Global Nursing Scholarship

The Masters in Global Nursing Leadership (MGNL) program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to equip individuals with a global outlook, leadership skills, and a strong dedication to reducing health inequities. Beyond financial assistance, this scholarship serves as a platform for individuals committed to academic excellence and making a meaningful impact in global health.

The UGHE Office of Admissions employs a comprehensive review process, evaluating applicants based on a variety of factors, including professional experience, supplemental materials, exams, interviews, and alignment with UGHE’s mission and values.

Key Benefits of the UGHE Masters in Global Nursing Scholarship

  • Full tuition coverage is provided for successful candidates. Recipients must complete the program; otherwise, the full scholarship amount must be refunded.
  • The MGNL program is 80% online, requiring students to have access to reliable computers and high-speed internet. On-campus attendance is mandatory for two weeks each semester for examinations.
  • While tuition is covered, students are responsible for additional expenses such as airfare, accommodation, meals, and visa fees during their time on UGHE’s Butaro campus.
  • The scholarship is valid for two years. Students must cover personal expenses, as UGHE does not provide living stipends or pocket money.
