2025 University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) Masters in Global Nursing Scholarship

The Masters in Global Nursing Leadership (MGNL) program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to equip individuals with a global outlook, leadership skills, and a strong dedication to reducing health inequities. Beyond financial assistance, this scholarship serves as a platform for individuals committed to academic excellence and making a meaningful impact in global health.

The UGHE Office of Admissions employs a comprehensive review process, evaluating applicants based on a variety of factors, including professional experience, supplemental materials, exams, interviews, and alignment with UGHE’s mission and values.

Key Benefits of the UGHE Masters in Global Nursing Scholarship

Full tuition coverage is provided for successful candidates. Recipients must complete the program; otherwise, the full scholarship amount must be refunded.
The MGNL program is 80% online, requiring students to have access to reliable computers and high-speed internet. On-campus attendance is mandatory for two weeks each semester for examinations.
While tuition is covered, students are responsible for additional expenses such as airfare, accommodation, meals, and visa fees during their time on UGHE’s Butaro campus.
The scholarship is valid for two years. Students must cover personal expenses, as UGHE does not provide living stipends or pocket money.
